Also available at Tuckton Tea Gardens are rowing boats and Self-Drive Motor boats.

The Rowing boats carry a maximum of 4 people and are also rented on an hourly basis.

Self-drive Motor Boats are available to rent from Tuckton Tea Gardens, Wick Ferry and Christchurch Quay.

They are rented on an hourly basis as they are only allowed on the river and harbour, with exit to the sea strictly forbidden. Each boat takes up to 8 passengers and these smaller boats give access to some areas which the ferries do not see.
